The solar.power single cell battery is a vented stationary battery with liquid electrolyte (diluted sulphuric acid).

HOPPECKE Solar.power batteries are especially designed for cycling applications in solar systems. Due to the tubular plates technology solar.power batteries offer an extreme high cycling expectancy. The excellent cycling behaviour of HOPPECKE solar.power tubular plate batteries is based on the around protection of positive mass by using of woven gauntlets. All solar.power batteries are prepared for electrolyte shifting by special air circulation tube system. The electrolyte shifting avoids negative effects like reduction of capacity and life time caused by partly state of charge during daily cycling operation.

The shock resistant and highly translucent polypropylene container makes a comfortable electrolyte level check possible. Based on the robust structure it is good for using in case of extreme transport and mounting operations.

Optional HOPPECKE solar.power batteries can be delivered ready assembled as 6V or 12V units in a steel tray. This reduces the assembly effort on side and gives more stability to the battery.

HOPPECKE single cells of the solar.power type series have a live expectancy of up to 15 years and a cycling expectancy of up to 1400 cycles with 80% depth of discharge.

It is recommended to use HOPPECKE solar.power single cell batteries with HOPPECKE AquaGen® recombination system to reduce the number of water refill procedures on a minimum and following this even to reduce the maintenance costs. By reducing the water refilling not only the maintenance costs are reduced, but also the amount of demineralised water you have to bring on side is much lower.
