Wind Energy in Nepal is still in its infancy and even basic windmapping is missing. A few places have been evaluated by AEPC (Alternative Energy Promotion Center) but many of those have shown not sufficient wind speeds.
Biotechx Energy International has signed agreements with international developers to further look at the possibilities of Wind Energy implementation in Nepal.
For the implementation and site selection the first steps have been taken and talks have been initiated with the concerned parties accordingly.
